Latest Acquisition Accelerates I-Evolve’s Growth in the Western New York Region

BUFFALO, NY, May 1, 2017—I-Evolve Technology Services, a leading Cloud Services provider, has signed an agreement to acquire the Small and Medium-Sized Business (“SMB”) Managed Services arm of Crossfuze. Crossfuze provides Managed Services to large enterprise clients (more than 1500 employees) which includes the implementation of ServiceNow, an Enterprise Service Management platform.

“The acquisition of the Crossfuze SMB Managed Services division allows I-Evolve to accomplish three strategic objectives,” said Kevin Kelly, President of I-Evolve. “It accelerates our growth plans, gives us access to high-quality technical talent, and provides opportunities to layer I-Evolve’s cloud solutions onto the managed services Crossfuze already provides its clients.”

The acquisition of the Crossfuze’s SMB Managed Service portfolio is the eighth technology company acquisition by I-Evolve. “This acquisition is our response to the vitality of the Western New York business market,” said David Meller, Founder and CEO of I-Evolve. “The need for end-to-end, state-of-the-art IT services is strong, and acquiring this SMB-focused division of Crossfuze better positions I-Evolve to meet the growing demands.”

Crossfuze’s technical resources on staff will be retained, bringing I-Evolve’s total workforce to 32 full-time personnel with additional hiring now in progress.

Founded in 1991, PC Business Solutions has provided more than 700 customers with advanced information technology services including networking, hardware, software and professional services.

Reasons for the acquisition

Kevin P. Kelly will become President of I-Evolve Technology Services effective March 1st, 2009, announced David A. Meller, who founded the company in 2001.

The 40 honorees - all under the age of 40 – were recognized on November 13, 2008 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center for their records of professional success and community involvement. David is active in promoting and contributing to non-profit organizations and fundraising events. He has been a volunteer firefighter for the last 18 years. Meller serves as technical advisor to many local companies and serves on the Board of Directors at InfoTech Niagara, WNY’s technology association. Congratulations to David Meller on yet another outstanding accomplishment.

In addition to 15 years of technical experience, David has studied Management Computer Information Systems at Canisius College and holds certifications from Microsoft, Novell, Cisco and Citrix. David's extensive background allows him to serve as technical advisor to many local companies – integrating technology and improving business processes to reduce costs.

I-Evolve has had continued success and growth since its inception in 2001. The staff has grown from one to 10 in the last two years and sales continue to increase. The company recently moved from its 1,200 square foot office to an 8,600 square foot corporate facility. The new facility includes a state of the art, fault tolerant and redundant data center equipped with fire suppression, generator and battery backup.
